Hey hey baby valkyries! My name is Ainsley Hillman, and I am beyond thrilled to lead a fantastic Welcome Weekend committee, alongside Jeanie Benedict, in creating a fun-filled, warm, and loving home for you all!! I am originally from Atlanta, GA (Go Braves!) and next year I will be living in Room 239 in the BEST section: 2B. My door is always open for y’all, so feel free to stop by for some snacks or coffee. I am a junior majoring in Business Analytics and Political Science in the Mendoza College of Business and the College of Arts & Letters. So, if you’re ever looking for a study buddy or some class recs, feel free to reach out! In my free time, I love to watch new shows or movies, play volleyball or soccer, volunteer, play card games, or just listen to some good music with some great people. All that being said, I am totally stoked to welcome you all into your Johnson Hall and Notre Dame Family, and I cannot wait to watch you grow your wings (Ride Valks!). Welcome to the best dorm on campus ;) Go Irish!

Hi y’all! I am absolutely stoked to see every single Baby Valk on campus in the fall! I am so excited and proud to be one of your Welcome Weekend Co-Chairs this year! Whether you are feeling a little bit nervous about going away to college or are absolutely over the moon about it, I know that you are going to be able to find a home and a loving community in Johnson Family Hall. I know that I was definitely a mix of both when I arrived, and I don’t think I could have had a better experience here! As a California native, I was not used to the cold weather, but I promise it is bearable – the best night of my time on campus was the night of the first snow. BELIEVE me, you will be hearing from me when you get to campus! I am very loud and hard to miss. One piece of advice for all first years: please please please go into your experience at Notre Dame with an open mind… it will be instrumental in meeting new people, trying new things, and embracing what makes Notre Dame special. Ride Valks and Go Irish. <3

Hi everyone! My name is Jules and I am beyond excited to be one of your Assistant Co-Chairs along with the beautiful, lovely, and amazing Mary Bridget Jones. I am a rising sophomore in the college of Arts and Letters and I am currently studying Psychology with a minor in digital marketing and a possible supplementary major in Spanish (I’m still unsure so it’s totally ok if you are too!). I am originally from Stamford, CT and I will be living in room 327 (right next to Fr. Tom #PrimeRealestate) with my fabulous roommate Maria in the fall. PLEASE STOP BY AND HANG OUT!!! Some of the things I'm involved in include JFAM spirit committee, photography for Strike Magazine, commissioning for bookstore basketball, and playing on as many interhall sports teams as possible. Some of my interests are food (literally anything, I’m not picky), hanging out with friends, working out/lifting, playing guitar, Notre Dame (I go crazy in the student section), and OBVIOUSLY Johnson Family Hall! So beyond excited to help you all turn JFAM into your second home! GO JFAM!!! GO IRISH!!!

Hi everyone!! My name is Mary Bridget Jones, and I am beyond excited to help with Welcome Weekend as an assistant co-chair this year! The next four years will be filled with amazing memories, and I’m grateful to be part of your first weekend here at Notre Dame. I am an Architecture major from just outside of Milwaukee, WI, and I’m a rising sophomore in JFAM! I love anything art related, taking pictures of the dome at sunset, going on walks around the lakes and sketching buildings on campus (did I mention I’m an arkie?). I am so so excited to meet you all and help with your introduction into the ND family + JFAM community so please reach out (or stop by 325) if you have any questions about classes & dorm assignments or you’re just curious about things like the best study spots & food places on campus! CAN’T WAIT TO MEET YOU ALL IN AUGUST!!!
